We started this site after spending way too much money on "green" products that didn't work or tasted bad (sometimes both). We wanted to move toward using non-toxic products in our homes and on our bodies - what a concept! We wanted to support products and companies that use Fair Trade, organic and natural ingredients, and try to be respectful of the Earth in their production practices.

Unfortunately, we didn't have a clue where to start. Most places that provide product information give the press release info from the manufacturers who can (and I know this is hard to believe) say just about anything they want to sell their products, even if it is exaggerated or misleading. Or the site is a sales site for the products and services being reviewed. What to do???

So we thought - Where do we usually turn when we need REAL information we can use? To our friends, of course. So we grabbed a bunch of them and made them try a whole bunch of products to get real world, real people ratings and opinions to help us (and now you) find the stuff worth buying. Why suffer if you don't have to? Let friends do it for you by feeding them the disgusting chili that you almost spent money on so they can warn you away!

Well, obviously there are a lot of people who want in on it, so we are sharing - our reviews, our tips, our information, our contacts, our opinions - everything. We hope it helps you in your journey and we hope you will return the favor by jumping on the site and sharing your hard-won experience, insights and recommendations.
