What is WiseNGreener?

We are a company dedicated to helping consumers find healthier, "greener" products that actually work, providing information to help consumers navigate the sometimes overwhelming sea of products claiming to fall into the healthier lifestyle categories, and to have a little fun doing it. Why?  Because we have personally spent countless amounts of time and money trying to find products that are healthier and more eco-friendly.  We know first-hand how frustrating it can be and how disappointing it is to get something home with high hopes only to have them dashed (and having to pay handsomely in some cases for the pleasure). Who are your reviewers?

Our reviewers are average people who have expressed interest (or been lovingly coerced)  in(to) reviewing products for this website.  The opinions they express are purely their own and are not influenced by or reflective of the opinions of WNG and its staff.  Reviewers have all signed affidavits that they and their family members are not affiliated in any way with the companies that produce the products they review. 

 

How are the products tested?

All products reviewed on this site are tested through personal use in real life situations of the reviewers and/or testing parties held by WNG.

 

Where do you get your information regarding definitions and news items?

WNG uses a wide variety of sources for information provided on this site.  Where possible, individual sources are cited and web links given for consumers to use for collection of additional information on the subjects addressed.  Where three or more sources of the same information are available, no citation is added.

 

How can I contribute tips and other information to the website?

There are multiple links throughout the WNG website that ask specifically for your feedback, opinions, tip and more.  Plus, we have a great message board under the Voices link that is designed specifically for you to share information and questions with us and all Wisengreener visitors and friends.  We value your experience and knowledge and hope you will share them with us.

 

I'd like to be a reviewer and/or host a testing party?  What do I need to do to get involved?

First, we hope you have added your own voice and rating on products to the review pages and the message board.  If you'd like to host a testing party or be a featured reviewer, just click Contact US and provide the necessary information.  Due to the volume of requests, we can't include everyone who wants to participate.  However, we will try to spread the love as much as possible.  We definitely want to have the widest range of reviewers we can realistically include.

 

Where do you get the products that you review?

Currently we buy the products we review.  We also have testing parties where reviewers will bring items they want  tested.  If and when companies submit products for review, they will have to do so with the understanding that our reviews are strictly a matter of the reviewers' experiences with the products.  No special treatment will be given to advertisers regarding product reviews.

 

How do I get my product reviewed?

You may submit a product for review by following the Product Review request procedures at this link.  Products must be easily available for consumers to purchase if they are so inclined through widespread retail outlets or online sources.

 

Who is your target audience?

That's easy – our audience is everyone who is concerned about the effects of the products we use on our health and our world. It doesn't matter how big or small the changes you want to make, every little bit helps.  We want to give you some useful tools to make those healthier decisions for yourself and your family.
